Green Party of Louisiana announces it's 2019 convention
The New Orleans chapter of the Green Party of Louisiana is making a good-faith initiative to host a state convention on the 26th of January, 2019, at Loyola University, 114 Miller Hall, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please register on our website today. There's no fee, though we will "pass the hat" at the meeting in hopes of defraying expenses.
This meeting is vital to the continued existence of our party in the state of Louisiana! It is only at the convention that officers can be elected and bylaws revised. We hope to have a full schedule available for you soon. If you'd like to make a presentation or convene a discussion, please let me know.
We're honored that Renate Heurich, Anika Ofori, and Lynne Serpe have all agreed to share their expertise and knowledge on issues relating to ecology, justice, and democracy.
Parking can be had on-campus for just around $5. Details forthcoming.
In the meanwhile, please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, etc.
Additional details can be found here.
To a Greener future!
