Maryland Green Party to hold it's 2018 State Assembly on June 30
You are invited to the Maryland Green Party's annual State Assemblyon June 30th. Our 2018 host is the Howard County Green Party, holding the assembly in Elkridge, Maryland. The free event will take place this Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Elkridge Library. There will be light refreshments, music, and a dedicated social hour for networking.

We will have a selection of speakers, most notably former MGP Co-chair Ian Schlakman and HUD RAB delegate Rev. Annie Chambers, who are running for Governor and Lt. Governor respectively. There will be several panel discussions, providing an opportunity to hear from every nominated candidate. From 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, we will have a special Climate Change (and related issues) presentation led by MGP Co-Chair Michael Cornell, who currently serves on the Columbia Association's Climate Change & Sustainability Advisory Committee. Everyone from the community is encouraged to attend the Climate Change segment, as there will be time for a Q&A session.
In addition, we will be electing officers to the Maryland Green Party's Coordinating Council (the State Party's Green Central Committee). In order to vote, you must be registered Green. On-site registration at the Assembly will be made available.
