Portland Reorganizes; Endorsement Meeting
Date: April 27, 11am-1pm
Sellwood Public Library (7860 SE 13th Avenue)
In person, social may follow
Mark your calendars for April 27th, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Sellwood-Moreland Public Library. This will be the first in a series of endorsement and organizational meetings. Our focus will be on reviewing the endorsement process and beginning the evaluations of candidates, starting with District 2.
Portland's adoption of a new government structure featuring 4 districts, 3 representatives per district elected using Single Transferable Vote (STV), and public financing of campaigns is a unique opportunity.
For more information go to pdxpgp.org. To get involved, particularly with the Portland reorganization and endorsement process, as well as the Mike Schmidt campaign for DA (election May 21). Email [email protected].
Local elected Greens & candidates
We are proud to announce that Marnie Glickman, a dedicated Green Party member, is running a compelling campaign for District 2. Let’s rally behind her and others who share our vision for a sustainable future.
Donate today to her campaign! We are only 40 donations short of Marnie reaching the goal of matching funds. Donations must be a minimum of $5 from Portland voters.
When elected Marnie will join a bidding number of green-elected officials, including recently elected Councilor Jai Raj Singh in Tigard. Your participation is crucial as we support various campaigns, including Devon Lawson’s bid for position 6 on the McKenzie School Board and the Lane Education Service District Board of Directors.

Your involvement, whether as a candidate, volunteer, or supporter, is vital to our mission. Together, we can advocate for sustainable policies, promote social justice, and work towards a brighter future for Oregon. Let’s make 2024 a year of growth, impact, and green victories!
