SEIU 200United, a union that represents employees of human service agencies, municipalities, school and sports franchises, has endorsed Green Party of New York congressional candidate Matt Funiciello.

The endorsement splits labor support three ways in the 21st Congressional District race.

New York State United Teachers endorsed incumbent Republican Elise Stefanik of Willsboro.

United Steelworkers has endorsed Democratic candidate Mike Derrick, a retired Army colonel from Peru, in Clinton County.

Funiciello is a bread company owner and political activist from Hudson Falls.

SEIU 200United, a local of Service Employees International Union, endorsed candidates in seven New York House races. The remaining six are all Democrats.
