The Struggle to Harvest Olives in Palestine

As an activist with the Center for Jewish Nonviolence, Jacqueline Dauria spent six weeks in occupied Palestine during the fall of 2025. While there, she participated in olive harvests with Palestinian farmers and their families. Here, she will share personal experiences of daily struggles for Palestinians living in an apartheid state.

Beautiful and stirring exclusive photos will be displayed throughout her presentation. Jacqueline, a former resident of St. Louis during high school, lives in Alaska.

Colonialism is not limited to attacking and killing people; but includes efforts to destroy
the culture of its victims. Harvesting olives is part of Palestinian culture.
