This email is being sent out to let everyone know that the Tennessee Green Party will be hosting its annual meeting on October 19, 2024. The meeting will be held virtually through Jitsi Meet from 9:00 am – 11:00 am CST/ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm EST.

We invite all Tennessee Greens to join this meeting to take charge in learning what is going on within our state party. We would also like to give those that come the opportunity to tell us what change you would like to see in Tennessee. We will have a guest speaker for this meeting to be announced in an update email along with the Jitsi Meet link, closer to the meeting.

This meeting is also used as a nomination meeting for anyone that would like to run for a position on the Tennessee Green Party State Coordinating Committee. The positions available are:

• Co-Chair (2 year term)
• Co-Chair (1 year term)
• Secretary (1 year term)
• Delegate (2 year term)
• Delegate (1 year term)
• Alternative Delegate (2 year term)
• Alternate Delegate (1 year term)
• 3 At-Large Members (1 year terms)

If you are interested in a position on the State Coordinating Committee, please feel free to reach out for information on the position or go to the tngreens.org website to learn more in the bylaws section. We will also take nominations the day of the meeting.
