Thank you for your interest in getting involved in Texas!
The Stein/Baraka campaign was on the ballot in 2016 receiving over 71,000 votes! Several Congressional candidates received between 1-11% of the vote.
A new TX law makes it easier for political parties to retain ballot access, which reduces the vote test from 5% to 2% of any statewide race in any of the last five elections. In 2016, GPTX candidate for Railroad Commission, Martina Salinas won over 287,000 votes. Because of Salinas’ strong campaign, Green Party of Texas will now be guaranteed ballot access through 2026!
Please make a direct donation to our national Ballot Access Committee fund which provides grants, support, and coordination to states.
We are still definitely looking for people to help coordinate preparation for our registration and party-building efforts in their region or county in Texas. Please contact one of our ballot access leads below.
