Precinct Conventions

The Texas Green Party's 2024's Precinct Conventions are on March 12th!  That's just a few weeks away, so the time to organize is RIGHT NOW, so let's get organized & informed TODAY!

If you haven't heard from your county group and they don't have an event listed on our calendar,  the task of organizing your county's conventions might be up to you.

If your area doesn't have an active Green Party group, we'd like to change that.  Join this Sunday's Zoom call (info below) to find out how.  If you can't make it, please reach out & let us know what county you're in!

We'd like to get the word out about these conventions NOW, so that everyone who wants to participate knows about them.  If your local convention has been posted, please RSVP.

Social Media

To help boost our social media posting frequency, a project has begun - a content calendar.  If you have a little free time to research a month or just a week or two, so we have a backup topic for each day, email [email protected] to help out.  There's hundreds of days in the year, but the more help we have, the easier it'll be.

Standing Committees

Several seats are unfilled on the national standing committees.  At the Spring State Meeting, we filled a few seats, but many remain open.  The SEC can approve appointment at any time, if you’re interested in serving in one of these positions, or would like to help with a smaller project, tell us at [email protected].  

Visual / Graphic Artists

Are you an artist?  We'll need graphics with the details of the upcoming precinct conventions.  These would be posted on socials & printed to post around IRL to set a new state record for convention attendance!

Group Highlight: Black Alliance For Peace

The BAP seeks to recapture and redevelop the historic anti-war, anti-imperialist, and pro-peace positions of the radical Black movement. Through educational activities, organizing and movement support, organizations and individuals in the Alliance will work to oppose both militarized domestic state repression, and the policies of destabilization, subversion and the permanent war agenda of the U.S. state globally.
