We have some exciting ballot access updates. First, we got the news this morning that we WILL be on the ballot in Georgia. The Secretary of State wrote a letter this morning confirming that we qualified - we beat another of the anti-democratic party’s attempts to kick Jill and Butch off the ballot!! 

The bad news is that a few days ago we had an update about Nevada, where the anti-democratic party is attempting yet again to undermine democracy by using all the dirty tricks they can. To summarize, in case you missed it, the Nevada Secretary of State, a Democrat, gave the campaign the wrong forms to use to get on the ballot. 

Then the dirty Dems used that technicality to sue us off the ballot - we won in lower courts, only to lose in the Nevada Supreme Court. Not surprisingly, our research team found that the Chief Justice in the case is a DNC donor. 

But we aren’t quitting our fight for ballot access in Nevada so millions of people in the silver state can have an anti-genocide, pro-worker, climate action option in November.

Our lawyers are filing a case to take the fight to the highest court in the land: US Supreme Court. 

This is good news for ballot access across the country. Our campaign had planned to tackle the unfair signature and fee requirements that vary wildly state-by-state, but we hadn’t planned to be able to do so in the Supreme Court so soon. Depending on the outcome, this could mean Greens all over the country will be able to run for office more easily and could save millions in 2028. 

We can’t miss the opportunity to rectify this waste of time and resources. Jill and Butch need you to pitch in today to take this fight to the US Supreme Court and pay our legal fees in Nevada.
