The Stein/Baraka campaign was on the ballot in 2016 receiving over 43,000 votes!

Candidates for minor parties and independent candidates may be nominated at a convention held no earlier than the first Saturday in May and no later than the fourth Saturday in July of the election year. The convention must consist of at least 100 voters, "but a minor party or independent candidate holding multiple conventions may add together the number of signatures of different individuals from each convention in order to obtain and submit to the secretary of state the signatures of at least 1,000 registered voters of the state of Washington." The petition and a certificate of nomination must be submitted to the secretary of state no later than the first Friday in August.

To qualify a Green Candidate for Presidential ballot line with a Green (minor party) designation, Washington Greens must:

• Publish public notice At least 10 days before the convention begins, a newspaper notice must be published within the
  county where it will be held. 
• Hold a nominating convention or multiple conventions that total at least 100 registered Washington voters.
• Obtain 1,000 valid petition signatures from the convention(s).
• Submit slate of electors 10 days after the convention(s) adjourn(s)

To retain beyond 2020 our candidates will need to obtain 5% of the vote for President in 2020.
