We must organize and catalog our resources
We own our labor. Let us not forget that. We don't need to sell our labor to people that exploit it. We don's have for people that don't give us the recognition and compensation we deserve. We don't have to wait on these major corporations to save or invest in the American job industry. Nor do we have to wait on these corrupt politicians and/or corrupt party's to change the policies that promote predatory practices?
We don't have to do deal with their shit anymore if we remember that we own our labor. It's a resource and we own that resource. For the first time in history we are able to communicate at a mass level. We can reach people all over the world with a touch of a button. We have the technology available. We just have to organize and catalog our resources so we can make changes now with what we have. It's about perspective. It's about changing the way we look at the work force. Co-op organizations need to be the fundamental vehicle behind the Green Party's message. If we can provide the information and easy access to creating and building co-ops then it does in real time what we have been waiting on to happen.
The Ocean's 11 analogy is everything. Whether one considers themselves a socialist or capitalist they all are comfortable and can agree with the Ocean's 11 pay scale. It's bringing a group of people together with different skill sets in order to create something as a whole. It is essentially a co-op. Build your Ocean's 11. Just don't rob casino's and art gallery's and shit.
Every industry has it's own culture and pulse to it. The labor force has a front row seat to what is wrong with each of those industries. Organize people in your profession or industry to start your own companies so you can provide quality product without the predatory corporate overhead. Work for yourselves and out source to those who are doing the same.
Understanding that we can "Re-Claim, Re-new, Re-Purpose, Re-Use". We have enough material to make change immediately. There is no reason why anyone should be without your basic food, water, clothing and housing. We have an abundance of land. We have an abundance of old buildings and houses throughout the rural areas of this country. We can salvage those goods. We farm those lands. There's micro-living. There's shipping container houses. There's houses made of hemp. There are houses that can be 3D printed with recycled plastic. They have recycled plastic building blocks. We can turn old tires in to roads and sidewalks. We have what we need to change lives now. We just need to understand that it is our labor that can make this happen. There are brilliant ideas out there. That's why we must organize and catalog what we have first so we can build with what we have.
