The state of Georgia has some of the most onerous ballot access laws in the country. The Stein/Baraka campaign were qualified as official write-in candidates in 2016 and received thousands of write-in votes!

Petitioning for party ballot access is already underway in the state of Georgia, and we need volunteers to help collect signatures, make phone calls, fundraise and other critically important tasks. Please scroll down to sign up to volunteer and help achieve Ballot Access for the state of Georgia! In order to qualify for statewide ballot access, we need to collect approximately 65,000 valid signatures before July 1st, 2020. This means we will actually need to collect upwards of to 115,000 raw signatures to qualify. A recent court decision has lowered the number of required signatures for Presidential Independent ticket to approximately 7,500 - however Georgia Greens cannot begin collecting those signatures until January. To remain on the ballot for 2020 without re-petitioning, a state-wide candidate needs over 1% of the vote.
