Green Party of Texas update for November
There are just a few days remaining to get the word out about our great candidates! Please spend some time outside your local polling stations or anywhere you can find people to talk to & let them know that peace & sustainability are on the ballot!
The campaign support Whatsapp group has been incredibly active & has played a huge role in getting stuff done during the past couple months. If you have the Whatsapp app, or wouldn't mind installing it, please join here & ask if a chat has been created for Greens in your area yet.

If you live in DFW or Houston, another volunteer may have some already printed. Ask on Slack or Whatsapp.
Learn about our 2024 candidates here: https://www.txgreens.org/2024_candidates. If you can donate time or money, they would GREATLY appreciate your help.
That's a ZOOM CALL THIS SUNDAY. We'd love to have you join.
Eddie & the Stein/Ware team made several stops in Texas during October. They mostly hit areas with organized TXGreen affiliates & volunteer activity.
El Paso, Tyler, Amarillo, Lubbock - that ain't you!
It's time to build - https://www.txgreens.org/how_to_start_a_local_group Let's get local groups in place to make future campaigning a breeze.
------- Aly's Ad Break ----------- |
The Green Party of Texas is an all-volunteer grassroots organization. We never take donations from PACs or lobbyists, like the Democrats and Republicans do. But that means we depend on donations from people like you to pay our bills and support our candidates. Can you become a monthly sustainer? |

Our next installment in the GEODE series is Sunday, Nov. 10. We'll go over the basics of our party's structure & how it works.
Connection info is here:

GPTX Reading Group
The discussion of "Let This Radicalize You" has been indefinitely postponed during the election season. We may resume this monthly Zoom series soon, if people are interested. Keep an eye on the calendar & let us know if there's a book you'd recommend.
Volunteer Opportunities
SEC (State Executive Committee)
We've got 2 open positions on the State Executive Committee. If you've been active for 9 months, it might be for you. More information about the position can be found here: https://www.txgreens.org/bylaws#A2
Standing Committees
Several seats are unfilled on the national standing committees. At the Spring State Meeting, we filled a few seats, but many remain open. The SEC can approve appointments at any time, if you’re interested in serving in one of these positions, or would like to help with a smaller project, tell us at this page.
Visual / Graphic Artists
Are you an artist? The donation of a logo design or graphic for merch would be a great help. A button-making party could be a great activity for your local group, but maybe you have other fun ideas. Let us know!
Social Media
To help boost our social media posting frequency, a project has begun - a content calendar. If you have a little free time to research a month or just a week or two, so we have a backup topic for each day, send us a message to help out. There's hundreds of days in the year, but the more help we have, the easier it'll be.
Group Highlight:
YOU.
You've done a heck of a job getting the word out about our candidates. The support has been jaw-dropping & if we keep this ball rolling & keep an eye out for the next great candidates, 2026 could see Texas turn GREEN!
If you know of organizations that are putting our key values in action, send us the info so we can get the word out.
In Solidarity,
Green Party of Texas
