The History of Guaranteed Healthcare in the U.S.A.
Thanks to many health care advocates, the movement for guaranteed healthcare came a long way in 2017. But there is a long history behind the concept that healthcare is a right and should be afforded to all. HealthCare-Now campaign has put together a great graphic and information page to highlight the long fight for quality healthcare in the U.S. Check it out here. Join our Healthcare Campaign in 2018 to help pass SB-562 Healthy California Act.

GPSCC December Meeting Minutes
We meet on the 4th Thursday of each month, currently at the San Jose Peace and Justice Center at #48, S. 7th St from 7-9 pm. Our chapter's mission: Strengthen and expand the Green Party membership, candidates, political capital, credibility and visibility in Santa Clara County and contribute to the growth of GPCA and GPUS.
Our December monthly meeting was a very brief one held before the Dec. 16th party, see brief meeting minutes here!
2018 GPSCC Monthly Meeting Location
To make our meeting accessible to more Greens from across Santa Clara county and to avoid evening rush-hour traffic, some members suggested we hold every other meeting in mid peninsula. At our January 25h monthly meeting we will be making a decision on that proposal. Our January meeting will still be held at our usual venue: San Jose Peace and Justice Center, 48 S 7th St, San Jose.
STOP TOP TWO!
As we closed 2017, USA was at war with 7 other countries with a bloated military budget of over $700 Billion passed by Republicans and Democrats. We must STOP TOP TWO, join this campaign in 2018 and help us gather 800,000 petition signatures! Please volunteer.
We Need Your Help!
Please begin this year with a donation to our chapter, so we can continue our projects in outreach, education and communication. We are a volunteer group who rely on donations alone to fund our actions. Become a monthly donor today. Thank YOU.
