On June 5, 2018, San Jose voters will have the opportunity to vote NO on Measure B. Measure B, also known as the “Evergreen Senior Homes Initiative,” would facilitate residential sprawl citywide—including in North Coyote Valley. Please join us in saying NO to sprawl and NO on Measure B.

Vote YES on Measure A - Santa Clara RCV Election
Measure A is a charter amendment that would allow us to use Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in all city elections, including for our directly-elected mayor, city clerk, chief of police and city council seats. The city council would be elected from two districts, each with three seats, to help ensure more balanced neighborhood representation. LEARN MORE HERE.

At our April meeting we met at the Santa Clara Library and welcomed two new members and a guest and reviewed the Spring 2018 Standing General Assembly votes on GPCA proposals, we recaped our Q1 activities and discussed Q2 goals of campaigning for our endorsed candidates and focusing on community building.

May 27 - Tabling at Evergreen Farmers Market - 9 - 1 pm - 4055 Evergreen Village Sq, San Jose. Stop by and check out this beautiful little market and enjoy a day of community, registering voters and help us spread the word for NO on Measure B campaign.
May 28 - Political Revolution Reading Group - 7 - 9 pm, San José Peace and Justice Center, 48 S. 7th St. San Jose. Group will discuss Daniel Ellsberg’s 'The Doomsday Machine', a 2017 memoir recounting Ellsberg’s experiences as a nuclear war planner for the RAND Corporation.
