The Green Party of the United States will air GreenStream, the party's livestream show, with a preview of the 2024 Green Presidential Nominating Convention on Thursday, August 1 at 9 pm ET featuring discussion and interviews with Green Party leaders and candidates.
During the first segment of the preview, Honorary Convention Co-Chairs Margaret Elisabeth and Craig Cayetano will talk about the 2024 Green Convention, which will take place from Thursday, August 15, to Sunday, August 18, with the presidential nomination and nominees' acceptance speeches on Saturday, August 17.
The second and third segments of the GreenStream show will present interviews with Green candidates running for state and local office. The livestream is expected to run about 45 minutes.
Candidates slated for the interviews:
• Christina Khalil, running for US Senate in New Jersey
• Chester Todd, for US House in Wisconsin, District 1
• Rachel Braaten, for Mayor of Crystal, Minnesota
• Eddie Espinoza, for Texas Railroad Commissioner
Margaret Elisabeth will moderate. The GreenStream show's technical producer is Adam N. Suntken.
The Green Convention will be held virtually on Zoom and simulcast on various social media sites. The Green Party encourages members of the media who are interested in covering the nomination, press conferences, and other events to register for media credentials at the link above.
