We would like to invite you to join the Minnesota Greens and Green Party of Minnesota Muslim-American Caucus for an iftar celebration, breaking the Ramadan fast, and showing support for the Green Party of Minnesota and Dr. Butch Ware, Green candidate for Governor of California! As we enter the 2026 election cycle, we're hoping to raise funds for the state party and create a solid foundation for our potential candidates. 

For those who don't know, Dr. Ware spent much of his youth in Minneapolis and knew the iconic Green and former Minneapolis Park Commissioner Annie Young. In 2024, he ran as the Green Party vice-presidential candidate, and since then, he's been working to build the Green movement nationwide. 

This fundraiser will benefit both the Minnesota Green Party and Dr. Ware's campaign. The event details are below:

• Location: Lucy Parsons Center, 4100 S 28th Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55406
• Time: March 3rd, from 5 to 8 PM

Come enjoy good food and good company, and hear from local Green leaders about how we're going into the 2026 midterms. Please RSVP and get a ticket, so we have an accurate headcount when we order food and prepare the event space.
