Green Party of Tennessee Annual Meeting

Please join the Green Party of Tennessee at its Annual meeting this Saturday June 17, 2017 at McCabe Park Community Center 101 46th Avenue Nashville, TN. 37209. We will be discussing upcoming plans, electing officers, sharing ideas and resources. This is a great opportunity to meet up with Greens from all across Tennessee.

New Meeting Location

We meet the second Monday of every month at 7 pm. Our new location will be Sustainable Future Center – 201 Ogle Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37920-4131 They have been a very welcoming host and they are an awesome Green business. 

City Council Movement

The Green Party of Knox County has been courting the City Council Movement. They are seeking our support. We will decide at our next meeting if we want to endorse the movement. They are fielding several strong candidates in this years city council races.

Petition Drive for Ballot Access

The Green Party of Tennessee is conducting a petition drive to gain Party Status in Tennessee. If we get enough signatures then Green Candidates can be on the ballot with Green Party next to their name. The Ballot Access Laws in Tennessee are draconian and designed to keep new parties from forming and having a real voice in elected offices.
