Alejandro Aguilera

Alejandro Aguilera is a Deputy in the Venezuelan National Assembly representing the Ecological Movement of Venezuela. He is also a Deputy representing Venezuela in the Parlasur, the parliament of Mercosur, the Southern Common Market.

He is General Secretary for the Ecological Movement of Venezuela and has served as Executive Co-President of the Federation of Green Parties of the Americas and the Lead Representative for the Americas on the Global Greens Coordination.

He is also a civil engineer and lawyer.


Alison Lam

International Green Solidarity: A Discussion with Greens from Around the World

As a scholar and activist focusing on the convergence of global climate negotiations and Green political theories, Alison is in a unique position both academically and professionally to conduct her research. Now in the third year of her doctoral studies at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, she focuses on the intersections of participatory democracy, ecological and social justice.

Within the Green Party of Canada, she serves as the Critic for Intergovernmental Affairs, Women and Gender on the Shadow Cabinet as well as Co-Chair of the International Secretariat. Her initiatives include policy proposals to rescind the Natural Resources Transfer Acts, creation of the party platform supporting the decriminalization of sex work, and the relaunch of the Women’s Caucus with mentorship and peer support programs. Internationally, she represents the Federación de Partidos Verdes de las Américas (FPVA) on Global Greens Coordination and is the Co-Coordinator of the Global Greens Climate Working Group, organizing annual delegations to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP), including COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

Barbara Dahlgren

Since 2010 Barbara Dahlgren has been a Green volunteer and currently serves as Secretary of the Greater Milwaukee Green Party (GMGP) in addition to raising her small children. She was an elected official for 8 years as a delegate to the Wisconsin Conservation Congress. She is also a volunteer master gardener who founded the GMGP garden committee.

 


Cheri Honkala

Housing actions to plant giveaways - Mutual Aid

Cheri Honkala is director and co-founder of the Poor People's Army/Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign which focuses on uniting people to abolish poverty. She has run for Vice President in 2012 with Jill Stein, Sheriff of Philadelphia, and PA District 197. She continues to be America's leading housing advocate, and recently authored "Takeover! A Human Rights Approach to Housing" with PPEHRC.


Chuck Fall

Advancing issues that can grow our ranks

Chuck Fall is a retired school teacher, following employment as a food server, and workers' compensation claims examiner. His chief passion is the fight for justice, ecological integrity, and building a movement that can preserve our civil rights.

While at college in Portland Oregon, in a Philosophy of Anarchism class, he was introduced to the ideas of Murray Bookchin, a proponent for the transformation of society into a post capitalist, ecological one, based on egalitarian and communal values of mutual aid and solidarity for all.

Howie Hawkins

International Green Solidarity: A Discussion with Greens from Around the World

Howie Hawkins is a retired Teamster in Syracuse, New York. He has been active movements for civil rights, peace, labor, and the environment since the late 1960s. He participated in the Greens' first national organizing meeting in August 1984, was the first U.S. candidate to campaign for a Green New Deal in 2010, and was the Greens’ presidential nominee in 2020.

His articles on politics, economics, and the environment have appeared in Against the Current, Black Agenda Report, CounterPunch, Green Left, Labor Notes, New Green Horizons, New Politics, Tempest, Z Magazine, and other publications. He has published two books: Independent Politics: The Green Party Strategy Debate (2006) and The Case for an Independent Left Party: From the Bottom Up (2020).


Jacqui Deveneau

International Women

Jacqui Deveneau Jacqui Deveneau is retired living in Portland, Maine on Wabanaki land. She became a member of the Green Party in 2000 when she lived in Cocoa Beach, Florida and worked on Ralph Nader's run for President. She returned to her family home in 2001 when her Mother passed to take care of her Father and get the family home ready to sell. Then in September of 2001 she moved to Maine and joined the Maine Green Party.

After years of doing Party work and attending, as a National Delegate, the Green Party ANMs and Presential Conventions, she is now the Chair of the Cumberland County Green Committee and Senior Advisor to the Maine State Committee, as well as still on the National Committee and has also been on the SC of the Global Green Women's Network. She is also on the National Women's Caucus, Animal Right's Committee, ANM Committee, GPAX and one of the founding members of the forming Elder's Caucus.

At 76 she has devoted 26 years to the Green Party.

Jay Ting Walker (he/him)

Green Party of Allegheny County, 9 years of party building

By day, Jay Ting Walker (he/him) is a Community Organizer at a Pennsylvania environmental non-profit Clean Air Council. By night, Jay is a proud member of the Green Party of Allegheny County, Pittsburgh DSA, Pittsburghers for Public Transit, and Bike Pittsburgh. Jay serves as one of the Green Party of Pennsylvania’s delegates to the GPUS National Committee.

He studied Biology and Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he was active in environmental activism. In his free time, Jay is passionate about ultimate frisbee, board games, Age of Empires 2, and watching soccer.


Jennifer Sullivan

Jennifer Sullivan has been a Green since 1996 and has been involved in every single one of our 4 Pillars. Her particular interest has been "Democracy" because she has determined that the USA does not actually have it! What this country has is 50 states and a national government each with varying types of voter suppression.

Sullivan has lobbied for 100% Public Funding for all Elections in both houses in DC, sponsored an event at the National Press Club on this topic, worked for IRV/RCV, single payer systems and open debates. Until Florida got even more draconian, she was a designated registrater of voters.

Johanna Epke

Proportional Representation Matters

Johanna Epke (she/her): Johanna is the director of Build & Fight, a 501(c)4 launched in 2025 to democratize elections, the economy, and the law. She is a movement lawyer with twenty years experience fighting for climate justice, democratic elections, and the abolition of corporate rights.

Prior to launching Build & Fight, Johanna practiced environmental law for a nonprofit firm in Boston and was general counsel for a major campaign finance reform organization. She serves on the board of directors of the US Solidarity Economy Network, and ProRep, the proportional representation campaign in California.

 


John Spritzler

John Spritzler is a retired Senior Research Scientist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a resident of Boston, Massachusetts, the father of three, and editor of PDRBoston.org that advocates egalitarianism.


Kalia Fitzgerald

Graphics and Engagement for Social Media

Kalia currently serves as Co‑Chair of the Black Caucus of the NCGP, and is a member of the NCGP Coordinating Committee, Candidate Endorsement Committee, Candidate Support Team, Media Committee, Membership Committee, and NCGP Spokesperson. She is the campaign manager for Michael Dublin, who ran for US House District 2 in 2024 and has committed to run again in 2026. She also represents the NCGP on the Steering Committee of the People's Power Coalition.

On the GPUS national side, Kalia is a national delegate for the NCGP and serves on the Annual National Meeting Committee (ANMC), National Black Caucus, National Media Committee, Credentials Committee, Dispute Resolution Committee, Presidential Campaign Support Committee, and the Coordinated Campaign Committee (as NC Liaison/Volunteer).

Beyond formal leadership, Kalia shows up. She attends protests, rallies, vigils, and community actions—because building a just world means being present. And every Sunday at 6 PM EST, she hosts Green Party Tea on YouTube, where she interviews candidates and Green Party members, shares news from across the states, and recently launched a monthly “National Committee Corner” to engage delegates with reminders about upcoming proposals, discussions, and votes.

Lawyers for Nature believes in a future where Nature is valued, respected, and provided with the legal protections it needs to flourish. They work to reshape legal systems to protect the natural world, fostering regenerative, ecocentric systems that contribute to climate rebalance and serve all life. They operate at the forefront of this paradigm shift, ensuring Nature has a voice in critical decision-making processes. They work across sectors to embed Nature's voice into governance structures, driving deep systems change, while educating people about this movement so they too can embody a world where Nature has rights.

Lizzie Wood

Lizzie serves the Green Party of Florida as a board member and GPFL’s first Nature Director. She serves on the Green Party U.S. National, International, and Peace Action Committees. She forwarded the Rights of Nature addition to the GPUS National Platform and has organized state, national, and Global Green events on Rights of Nature and Antarctic Rights.


Lucy Kagendo Mbae

Lucy Kagendo Mbae is a passionate environmentalist, Gender Secretary at the Green Congress of Kenya (since 2016), CEO at Be Well and Green Network and Secretary at Global Greens, with extensive experience working with organizations that advocate for climate change mitigation, adaptation, and food security.

As the founder of the Adopt A Tree Initiative, she plays a significant role in simplifying climate change education for young learners and empowering them to develop and share solutions for the climate crisis, which promotes climate awareness, recycling, clean air advocacy, and children and youth engagement in climate spaces. With her strong background in program development and implementation, she coordinates initiatives that bring policy and grassroots actions, where she has actively contributed to global climate discussions.

Through her work, she continues advocating for inclusivity and actionable solutions in Kenya and on global platforms.


Madelyn Hoffmann

Organizing for Peace: A Guide for Peace Activists

Madelyn Hoffman is an environmentalist and peace activist. Madelyn served as the director of New Jersey Peace Action from 2000 to 2018 and has been a prominent figure in the Green Party, running as their candidate for U.S. Senate in 2018 and 2020, and for Governor of New Jersey in 1997 and 2021.

Natalie J. Reyes is a first-generation Latina activist and policy researcher whose work is rooted in the immigrant experience. Growing up in Los Angeles as the daughter of Central American migrants, she witnessed firsthand the systemic discrimination and indifference faced by her community. These early observations fueled her lifelong commitment to social justice, prompting her to challenge who is truly seen and valued in American society. Today, as Co-Chair of the Latino Caucus, Natalie continues to advocate for systemic change through strategic communication. Her philosophy is built on mutual solidarity: she believes that by showing up for one another, we ultimately protect our own freedoms and collective future.

Navia Fahed is a Lebanese environmental advocate, civil society leader, and political activist, associated with numerous green NGOs and sustainability initiatives. I am the Founder of Green Wave Lebanon and a Political Bureau Member of the Green Party of Lebanon, actively promoting environmental governance, social justice, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development.

Navia is Global Green Women Representative, Asia Pacific Green Federation Women Representative, and Deputy Co-Convenor, contributing to international cooperation, women’s political leadership, and policy dialogue across regional and global green networks. "With extensive involvement in community development, humanitarian action, civic engagement, and environmental advocacy, I work to advance inclusive, resilient, and sustainable solutions for communities. I am committed to strengthening cross-cultural collaboration, advancing gender equality, and supporting responsible leadership at local, regional, and international levels."

Wissam Charafeddine

Wissam Charafeddine is an Arab American Thinker, Activist, Author, Entrepreneur, Educator, and Engineer. He has a Masters Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Michigan Dearborn,. He is the Family and Community Engagement Liaison at HES School District.He is a published poet, with four published works: The Opposite Swings, Climbing Leaves, Pains, and the Book of Paris.

He is also the author of the Awaited Arab State, the awaited confederation project of the Arab World, Universal Declaration of Human Values, and A Dialogue – A Universe from Void. Wissam is also a hyper-entrepreneur, and a founder of multiple nonprofit organizations. In addition to his academic background, he has an extensive background in Islamic Studies and activism, and Arabic history and identity issues.
