We often hear "Why don't Greens run for local offices?". We are proud to share that many Greens across California do run for local and non-partisan offices in every election and many are elected! Greens currently serve in over 60 public offices in California and they have all won their seats by running grassroots campaigns with PEOPLE POWER and with NO corporate or lobbyist contributions.

Proposition 3 - VOTE NO
Authorizes Bonds to Fund Projects for Water Supply and Quality, Watershed, Fish, Wildlife, Water Conveyance, and Groundwater Sustainability and Storage. Initiative Statute

Proposition 4 - VOTE YES with reservations
Authorizes Bonds Funding Construction at Hospitals Providing Children’s Health Care. Initiative Statute.

Join the Santa Clara County Greens to serve a nutritious meal to the guests at the HomeFirst Sunnyvale Shelter. We will help with the final preparation of the meal, then distribute plated food to shelter guests, serve beverages, and cleanup. We are honored to serve our community and invite you to share in this fun and rewarding experience.

Please note, there are some requirements for volunteers to be able to serve meals, you will receive details after you RSVP.

We are grassroots activists, environmentalists, advocates for social justice, nonviolent resisters and regular citizens who’ve had enough of corporate-dominated politics. Government must be part of the solution, but when it’s controlled by the 1%, it’s part of the problem.
