On Easter Sunday, a holy day of celebration for Christians across the globe, President Trump used his Truth Social account to openly threaten war crimes against Iran in a profane, unhinged escalation.

Today, Trump raised his threats to a horrifying fever pitch when he asserted that if Iran failed to meet his demands: "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to ​be brought back​ again.” Obviously a sinister allusion to ordering the nuclear annihilation of millions of civilians in Iran.

Despite the clear danger of a President who is unfit to hold the nuclear codes, Democratic leadership offers no genuine resistance and refuses to even discuss exerting serious pressure on Vance and the Cabinet to evoke the 25th Amendment.

But we shouldn’t expect better from the party that funded and aided the genocide of the Palestinian people under the Democratic administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The two-party system will not save us. We must act now.

The Green Party is the only political force standing unequivocally for peace and international law. We refuse money from the military-industrial complex, allowing us to challenge warmongers without compromise.

Only the Green Party has candidates like Brian McGinnis, Anthony Aguilar, and Greg Stoker. Brave veterans who have experienced firsthand the true human cost of war and have committed their lives to standing up against these dangerous wars of aggression, no matter what price they might pay for doing so.

That’s because they recognize that the Green Party of the United States offers the only real resistance to the war mongering Trump administration. But we need your help to organize.
