Victory for Election Integrity in Pennsylvania
This week, Jill Stein announced a huge victory for election integrity in Pennsylvania. There will now be voting systems which include paper ballots by 2020 and automatic audits after 2022.
This victory builds on years of Green Party led fights for electoral justice in Pennsylvania.
Ten years ago, when I was chair of the Green Party of Pennsylvania, we joined in lawsuits to fight for more equitable ballot access for third parties and independents. We also sued to make petitioning requirements less onerous and won. And when we got the call from the Stein campaign in November 2016, our state party jumped into action to support the recount, leading us to today’s announcement.
All of this is possible because the Green Party -- both in Pennsylvania and across the country -- has been waging battles for justice for over 30 years. Whether it's for fair elections or fair wages, the Green Party is here, day in and day out, fighting for what’s right.
You can help us continue to make these victories possible with your donation of $18 or $28 or whatever you can spare.
Your donation will help us stick around for the next 30 years so we can keep fighting the good fight.
