Jesse Borosky for board of education

Jesse Borosky is running for the Wichita Board of Education, at-large position. Jesse is a Ph.D. student at Wichita State University and he is a member of the Kansas Green Party. Jesse is currently a student in Wichita State University’s Clinical-Community Psychology PhD program. Jesse’s particular interests are modern treatments for children and adolescents with mental health disorders and applying these treatments in settings such as schools and hospitals. Jesse has a long history of working with children and adolescents in various mental health and school-based settings. Continue reading

ChrisTiana ObeySumner for Seattle City Council District 5

Endorsed by the Seattle Green Party and the Green Party of Washington I was born in Alaska in 1986 to a single mother. Growing up, my family faced financial struggles and disability challenges. As a Black, economically disadvantaged, and non-verbal child, I had difficulty attending school, as special education services were not well-established prior to passage of the American Disabilities Act in 1990. Despite testing high, I did not qualify for services, and lacked diagnoses for learning disabilities. My mother and I were often unhoused, moving frequently, and I was often exiled from classes. Ry Armstrong’s D3 Seattle Council Bid Stresses Shelter, Safety, and Sustainability

Endorsed by the Green Party of Washington and the Seattle Green Party As a queer non-binary Broadway actor running as a radical Democratic socialist urbanist, Ry Armstong is mounting one of the more unique bids for Seattle City Council in District 3. One of their audacious proposals is to pedestrianize Pike Street and run a streetcar up it, creating a loop with the existing streetcar system, as The Urbanist learned in an interview with the candidate. Green Party Endorses Michael Bagdes-Canning for Mayor of Cherry Valley, PA

Meeting virtually on May 7, the Steering Committee for the Green Party of Pennsylvania (GPPA) endorsed Michael Bagdes-Canning for Mayor of Cherry Valley, PA. Badges-Canning has been an energetic campaigner for the Green Party, especially in 2022 when he ran for PA Lieutenant Governor. He has been the Mayor of Cherry Valley, PA, and a committed campaigner for climate sanity and for ending legalized "gifts" to PA legislators, which always seem to benefit special interests (fracking) more than public health.
