Roe v. Wade was a settled Constitutional legal interpretation. It was a step forward for women's basic human rights. Then we all figure that we have this basic building block to work from. We were thinking of fair wages, equal opportunity for jobs, and education.
Surprise! Now the fascist father of wealth and plenty attacks us from behind.
Weirdly, this comes from some of the very same crowd that rebelled against forced mask-wearing and COVID-19 vaccinations. This faction wanted freedom. The nasty reality is that everyone should have freedom over their own bodies — unless you are a woman. Particularly bad if you are a poor or young woman. Statistically bad if you are a person of color.
These faith-based phonies know exactly what they are doing. they are stopping a woman's progress to stand on their own by putting a huge roadblock in the way of choice for their bodies and life. It's a repulsive need that they have. They want to punish women for having sex, for dressing like "they want to be raped" and for, basically, being the gender that sprouts the baby.
Baby girls have a right to be born, but it ends right there. As usual, the wealthy or well enough off will hardly feel this — initially.
The Women's Caucus of the Green Party of the United States stands firmly on the right of choice for women everywhere — always!
We hope that you will take this stand with us. There are lots of ways to do this. One that is easy enough to do right now is to send your Representatives this message asking them to represent the rights of all women, not just the rights of those who are anti-abortion.

With the Supreme Court due to overturn Roe v. Wade within the coming months, the left has been berated by liberals with the familiar talking point that in order to protect abortion rights we must "vote blue." Predictably, liberals took to social media soon after the leaked draft opinion was reported, blaming Susan Sarandon and other third party voters for the upcoming Supreme Court decision, while completely ignoring the Democratic Party's culpability in this travesty.

Wade, 410 U.S. 113, a groundbreaking case that found - by the authority of United States Constitution - that pregnant women are permitted to have an abortion without state or federal government interference. Less than a generation later, the spirit and application of this law are being challenged, as was revealed when a draft decision overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked to the press on Monday, May 2, 2022.

The Green Party of Philadelphia does not think the state should detain women's reproductive rights. Let’s be real, either you believe that women have the right to decide when they want to subject their body to procreation; or you believe that society should make that decision for all people with uteruses.
Abortion advocates truly wish that we lived in a society where abortion was unnecessary. However, until healthcare is fair and equitable to all, then abortion rights will serve as the line in the sand.

Neighbor to Marsh Creek State Park, she has been actively opposing the Mariner East pipeline, fracking for plastics and the petrochemical infrastructure. She said she has many similar beliefs to most members of the Green Party and is endorsed by the Pennsylvania Green Party.
