The 2022 Green Party of Texas state convention will be Saturday, April 9th, at 10AM. Check-in starts at 9:45.

SALEM, WV – The Mountain Party of West Virginia is happy to announce Cheri Honkala as our keynote speaker for our 2022 state convention!
Cheri Honkala is a nationally and internationally recognized anti-poverty and human rights advocate. For the past 25 years she has dedicated her life to creating a movement led by the poor, not their advocates. Honkala has organized numerous protests, holding marches, demonstrations and setting up tent cities, in the course of which activities she has been arrested for civil disobedience violations more than 200 times.
NOTE TO LC MEMBERS: please prepare written reports and send them to the business list at least a few days before the meeting. The focus of this business meeting is the election of new officers.
ALL NOMINATIONS FOR OFFICES must be made and accepted on the gpva business list at least 48 hours before the meeting.

Green Party of Texas (GPTX) volunteers in each participating county must operate consolidated precinct & county conventions in order to facilitate & meet the convention nominating party requirements of the Texas election code.
In order to complete our nominating convention process & put our candidates on the ballot, a consolidated precinct convention event must be held in each participating county on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., followed by a county convention event the following Saturday, March 12, which confirms results from the precinct conventions, elects the county party chair, and elects delegates to move forward to the district convention (March 19) and then state convention on April 9.

The January 2022 Convention of the Pacific Green Party of Oregon will focus on Bylaw changes and 2022 Campaigns. Key issues to reviewed at this convention included:
1) Review of Proposed Bylaws - derived through a consensus-seeking process. How to empower the grassroots, while also providing enough coordination to support each other's initiatives.
