While the FEC is criticized for overlooking the corruption of super PACs and foreign money, it's also known to go after small, grassroots political alternatives for obscure or non-existent offenses. In this case, it's the Green Party’s 2016 presidential campaign on the firing line (again). HARTFORD, CT – On the day that the United States marked one-half million Covid-19 deaths, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont announced a new vaccine schedule. While the schedule prioritizes vaccination of educators and school staff, it is otherwise age-based, contrary to the schedule suggested by the CDC and followed by other states. Lamont is quoted as saying that the goal is to "get as many people vaccinated as quickly as we can." Continue reading

ALBANY, NY 2/23/21 - The Green Party of New York said today it was time for the Democrats to finally deliver on their call to legalize marijuana, a position the Greens have advocated for decades. The Greens said that while the legislative proposal was better than the Governor's, both fell far short of true legalization. The Green Party agrees with the Michelle Alexander paradigm that the drug laws created the New Jim Crow. The Greens want to repeal all cannabis laws. Continue reading

LAWRENCE, KS – The Kansas Green Party will begin collecting signatures on Earth Day, April 22, 2021 and will continue until October 18, 2021. Attaining ballot access is likely the most important thing we can do to grow the Green Party in Kansas. Once we have ballot access, the Kansas Green Party can nominate candidates for ANY PARTISAN OFFICE and registered Kansas voters will be able to register as Greens.To attain ballot access, we must collect signatures for an Official Party Recognition Petition.
