North Carolina Green Party Stands In Solidarity With Occupied Palestine!
Last month, the North Carolina Legislature continued their blind support of apartheid Israel with their unanimous support of House Resolution 897, which calls for even more U.S. government funding for Israel and asserts the attacks on October 7th were “unprovoked”.

Green Party Says Governor, State Lawmakers Need to Dramatically Accelerate Climate Action in 2024
Politicians Have Run out of Time to Avoid Major Climate Disruption
The Green Party of New York said today that New York needs to adopt an ecosocialist Green New Deal (GND) that includes a transition to 100% clean renewable energy and zero emissions within a decade along with a strong economic Bill of Rights. This would include major subsidies to fund the rapid decarbonization of all buildings in the state, including heat pumps, geothermal, and energy conservation. Such efforts should begin immediately in all public buildings, starting with the State Capitol complex. The Green Party first called for a GND in 2010.

Green Party To Add Delegates to PA State Committee
At the State Committee meeting of the Green Party of Pennsylvania (GPPA) on November 12, the 30 elected delegates voted by consensus to change the Rules (think “by-laws”) of the party to include more elected delegates from unorganized parts of the Commonwealth. Before this vote, around thirty percent of the GPPA’s 10,000 registered members lived in unorganized counties.
GPPA Co-Chair Jeremy Griffin (Delaware), explained, “The main reason this amendment had to be passed was to insure that we give a voice to unorganized Greens, no matter in which county they live. The amendment was discussed and approved by the Steering Committee, and I believe it will strengthen the GPPA’s democratic process at the state level.”

NWI Green Party Crossroads: December 2023
Your Northwest Indiana Greens (NWI) worked hard in the lead up to the November elections last month. When the results came in that night we were disappointed. However, we are proud that the Northwest Indiana Green Party was able to field two professional and impactful campaigns in Lake and Porter counties. The dedication and commitment that was put in for well over a year by our candidates and their volunteers increased the recognition and clout of Greens in the politics of the region. As a small grassroots environmental and justice focused movement we were shapers of conversations in debates, forums and the press.
