Making progress with ballot access
Last year, your donations helped our Presidential ticket get on the ballot in 45 states, which was a Green Party record.
We were on the ballot in Connecticut, Montana, and Vermont for the first time since 2004; in Missouri and New Hampshire, for the first time since 2000; and in Wyoming, for the first time ever! We could not have done it without your support.

We will not be marginalized, demonized, and scapegoated
Whether it be legislative policies that support the rich, ongoing expansion of the war industry, or another corporation engaging in environmental destruction, there’s always disappointment from the corporate-backed two-party system or constant spin in the mainstream media.
As Greens, we are actively marginalized, demonized, and scapegoated by people that see our existence as a threat. You all already know the ridiculous distortions they throw at us.

Expanding Ballot Access in 2018
Last year the Green Party gained national visibility and reached a peak of 5% support in mid-summer polls. As the election drew closer, support gradually fell to 1.1% on election day. While a number of factors were at play, the lack of ballot lines in several large states was among them.
The 1.5 million votes received by Jill Stein in 2016 is three times her vote total in 2012. It is nine times the votes received by former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney in 2008, and twelve times the vote for David Cobb in 2004. While the Green Party presidential vote in 2016 is only 51% of our vote for Ralph Nader in 2000, it is double the vote for Nader's best run as an independent.

Big Win for Ballot Access!
The Green Party news out of North Carolina is incredible. A law just passed that will reduce the North Carolina Green Party’s ballot-access requirement from a whopping 94,000 petition signatures to about 11,000. The law will finally put North Carolina’s ballot-access laws on par with most states. Thanks to Greens who helped push for its passage!
And with a $5,000 grant from the Green Party of the United States, the North Carolina Green Party is organizing petitioners and phone-banking to ensure it gets on the ballot in 2018—for the first time in history.

Green Party Of The United States Advisory Alert! Funding Needed For Critical Petition Drives
2016 was a banner year for the Green Party. The ballot access efforts of the presidential campaign of Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka put the Green Party in the record books because we got on the ballot in 45 states, and as write-ins on 3 more. That's the most ballot lines the Green Party has ever had!
Not only did we go into November with our highest number of state ballot lines, we also emerged from the election with our highest post-election number of state ballot lines. That is right, we are currently on the ballot in 22 states.

Love, Revolution & Sanctuary Cities
As Ernesto Che Guevara said, “At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality.”
He is exactly right. And that is why Greens are revolutionary - so very different from establishment Democrats and Republicans

Fighting Back and Electing Greens for Five Dollars!
We know that it's been a tough 15 days since Donald Trump was sworn into office.
But for many families and communities across the country and around the world, life was not very good under Obama, or Bush before him or Clinton before him. Do you see a pattern here?

The time is now--and we need you to do your part
This past Saturday was historic. Hundreds of thousands of women (and men, too) descended on our nation’s capitol for the largest inaugural protest in U.S. history, the Women’s March on Washington D.C.
The peaceful marches happened in cities all over the nation. From Boston and Philadelphia to San Francisco and Los Angeles, in large cities and small, hundreds of thousands of people marched in solidarity, for women’s rights and women’s freedom.

Civil Rights Leader Attacked by Trump!
Every year, on the third Monday in January, the world pauses to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King – a champion of social justice, democracy, and nonviolence.
As Greens, we wholeheartedly endorse and support Dr. King’s message, and if ever there a time when we needed his message to ring out across our nation, now is the time. Why?
