Election justice is a topic that has been circulating in public discussions as of late. Folks are unhappy with questionable practices on behalf of Election Inspectors such as using a waste can for votes in Ionia or huge discrepancies with vote totals in Detroit.
Jill Stein spearheaded a recount of last year's election. Michiganders across the state are calling for electoral reforms including an end to gerrymandering of voting districts.

On Thursday, October 26 at 7 pm the Green Party of Rhode Island is hosting a free screening of Scarred Lands and Wounded Lives: The Environmental Footprint of War (dirs. Alice T. Day and Lincoln H. Day, 2008). Called "a surprisingly moving experience" by Barbara Jasny of Science magazine, the film examines how the military-industrial complex and perpetual war for perpetual peace is eroding the biosphere.

Green Party Candidate Enters Maine's Governor's Race
Green Party candidate Betsy Marsano today kicked off her campaign to win the party's nomination in Maine's 2018 governor's race.
The Waldo resident told reporters at a State House news conference Tuesday that Maine needs new leadership. Marsano has a long history of working on behalf of Green Party issues, particularly those aimed at improving the environment.
