The Green Party of Atlantic County Supports EHTSD Transgender Student Policy
The Green Party of Atlantic County (GPAC) supports the Egg Harbor Township School District’s (EHTSD) proposed policy regarding Transgender Students. This policy would put the rights of personal identity where they belong, with the student in all instances where the student is able to advocate for themselves. This policy aligns with the Green Party’s affirmation of self-determination with regards to a person’s gender identity and sex.

NJ Greens Oppose South Jersey Gas Pipeline
The Green Party of New Jersey stands in strong opposition to the new gas pipeline project proposed by South Jersey Gas.
This pipeline would run 22 miles through protected areas of the Pinelands National Reserve, in sensitive forest areas in Cumberland, Atlantic, and Cape May Counties. The risk the pipeline poses to the environment and human water supplies greatly outweighs any benefit that may come from its construction.

DC Statehood Green Party calls for Electoral College vote proportional to popular vote, citing the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The DC Statehood Green Party is calling on Electoral College members in eleven states to assert their constitutional mandate by proportionally allocating their electoral votes for president.
Statehood Greens cited the Malapportionment Penalty Clause of the second section of the 14th Amendment pursuant Title Two Section Six of the United States Code (2 U.S.C.§6) in their appeal to electors in the eleven states who are pledged to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson.

The Green Party of Pennsylvania declares victory in the general election
The Green Party of Pennsylvania's status is elevated from Political Body to Minor Party as a result of the General Election. Row Office candidates Kristin Combs, Treasurer and John J Sweeney, Auditor General, reached 3% of the vote total in their respective races.
This will place the Green Party option on voter registration forms and allow the Green Party of Pennsylvania to place a candidate on the ballot in the event of a special election.
