Spokane Greens meeting & visibility project schedule
There are less than 50 days left until the presidential election. As a part of our ongoing Spokane for Stein Visibility Project we will continue to gather in groups at busy intersections in Spokane, communicating support for Jill Stein to voters. We have large custom made signs and a large banner to display on the I-90 overpass! Wyoming Voters Deserve Open Debates
In the coming weeks news reports will be filled with coverage about the performance of the Republican and Democratic Party candidates in the televised Presidential and Vice Presidential debates. Wyoming voters deserve to receive equal coverage about the ideas of the Green and Libertarian Party candidates.
The private company that controls the debates has set an arbitrary bar to participation. The only candidate outside the two ruling parties to qualify was a billionaire financing his own campaign a quarter century ago. The debates themselves are actually scripted press conferences disguised as journalism.

Greens to rally for racial justice at Ferguson Police Dept
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Green Party of the United States will hold a rally across the street from Ferguson, Missouri Police Headquarters on Saturday, July 25, during the party's Annual National Meeting in St. Louis from July 23 to 26.
The rally, which will take place 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., will call for an end to racial injustice, especially the killing of people of color by police and right-wing extremists, the recent burning of Black churches in southern states, deep racial disparities in the justice system, mass incarceration, and unrestrained police-prosecutorial power. Rally participants will show support for black and working class communities all over the country demanding a $15 an hour minimum wage and a future free of state oppression.

Green presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney wins the DC Statehood Green primary with 41.48%
Ms. McKinney will visit DC on Tuesday, Feb. 19 and speak at Howard University; details to be announced
WASHINGTON, DC -- According to unofficial election night results released by the DC Board of Elections and Ethics, Cynthia McKinney has won the DC Statehood Green Party primary in the February 12 presidential primary in the District of Columbia.
The DC Statehood Green Party is one five state Green Parties participating in their respective state primaries in 2008.

Green Party Presidential Primary
SACRAMENTO (February 6, 2008) - Two-time Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader won the Green Party presidential primary here Tuesday - despite not yet being a declared candidate. He outdistanced six rivals (including two who had already withdrawn) in what was the most competitive Green Party presidential primary ever.
However, the election was marred in California, and other states, by claims that Green party voters found it difficult to get ballots.
