Stein/Baraka Campaign and Green Party Answer Call For Support at Standing Rock
The indigenous water protectors and land defenders at Standing Rock are on the front line of the #NoDAPL struggle. They have issued a call for solidarity, support, and supplies, and the Stein/Baraka campaign and the Green Party of the United States has answered the call. Green Party co-chair and Stein/Baraka staffer Andrea Mérida Cuellar and Dawn Neptune Adams, an indigenous woman from the Penobscot tribe and member of the Maine Independent Green Party executive committee, and several members of the Colorado Green Party arrived in Standing Rock on Friday, November 4, to support the encampment and direct actions of the water protectors.
"Colorado Greens gathered crucial supplies to support the front line water defenders, from pepper spray remedies to food to warm winter clothing," said Cuellar. "Among us is a union teacher, Peggy Robertson of United Opt Out and a Green, who with her son Sam is rebuilding and restocking the camp school and will teach, in the style of Oaxacan teachers. We are all standing at the ready to serve and take full direction from the Indigenous leaders on the ground," she added.

Stein/Baraka Demand "No Lame Duck TPP" from Clinton; Trump
Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka, the Green Party Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees, stand with the American people in opposition to the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the corporate trade agenda of the Obama administration. This agenda includes the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with Europe, as well as the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) being negotiated with 52 countries.
"We oppose these trade agreements because they were negotiated by and for the transnational corporations to serve their interests, at the expense of our workers, our environment and our democracy," said Stein. "These agreements are a global corporate coup that would make corporations more powerful than governments, providing them with unprecedented power to prevent laws in the public interest that protect workers, consumers and the environment."

Some of the attacks I've received publicly and privately have been surprisingly angry and patronizing. I've been told that I'm a patsy for Donald Trump, that I'm naïve, misinformed, elitist, ignorant, and worse.

Green Party of Ohio issues statement against "vote-swapping"
Cleveland, OH: The Green Party of Ohio is urging our supporters to reject outright the concept of "vote-swapping", where a Green Party voter would agree to cast their ballot for another party on the dubious promise that an unknown person in another state would then agree to cast a vote for the Green Party.
This idea is being floated by the Democratic Party and the Hillary Clinton campaign as a way to shore up her falling poll numbers in swing states such as Ohio.
