The Green Party's EcoAction Committee has endorsed a June 30th climate action at the White House to demand President Biden stop pollution projects and address the climate emergency. The Rebellion of Stonewall, the Movement of Pride!

As Pride Month winds down, we remember the 52nd anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion. That event inspired grassroots organizations that grew into a nationwide Queer Liberation Movement known as Pride.  Unlike the two Wall Street parties, the Green Party has always taken the position that we cannot compromise on issues of life or death for LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual and other gender and romantic minority) communities.  We believe that addressing the deep issues facing LGBTQIA+ communities today requires deep solutions. We are Green - Reparations are a Debt Owed

WARRENVILLE, IL – We are Green. We commit to full and complete reparations to the African American community of this nation for the past four hundred plus years of genocide, slavery, land-loss, destruction of original identity and the stark disparities which haunt the present evidenced in unemployment statistics, substandard and inadequate education, higher levels of mortality including infant and maternal mortality and the practice of mass incarceration. We recognize that reparations are a debt (not charity) that is owed by our own and other nations and by the corporate institutions chartered under our laws to a collective of people. Pittsburgh Green Party joins Stop the Station

PITTSBURGH – Stop the Station is a coalition of local activist groups fighting for police accountability in the city of Pittsburgh, PA. It was initially formed in the summer of 2020 to fight the relocation of the Zone 5 Police Station to East Liberty at a cost of $3 million. There was a backlash from the community to the project and to the city’s lying that the decision was by popular demand. Since then, Stop the Station has gained much support and momentum. The Green Party of Allegheny County (GPOAC) is a member of Stop the Station’s Community Control Coalition. Continue reading
